Despite numerous experts and collectors I have met over the years, none have been able to provide certain and definitive answers to a number of dial oddities including double Swiss, underline, exclamation, 6 o'clock 'radium' plot and why some glossy dials deteriorate so differently to others. One thing is almost certain and that is that Rolex and their dial manufacturers experimented with different lume formulas over the years.
