While I am at peace with my collection, there are still a few watches to add.

Great great collection buddy. I am too thinking about adding a 372 as of late. 6.5 inch wrist.. who cares! Will most likely be the next fun watch. |

I am pretty lucky for have a large wrist I've thought about adding the iwc big pilot a few times, I am going for the mojo of one complication or one use for the watch like I don't want to get 2 chronos or 2 dive watches. This is how they look on my wrist and I actually really love your collection, can't find a pic of my trying one the 372 so here the 557. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think the 47mm fit is NICE on you bud. No issues there from this view... actually looks very compelling The size difference from 5712 into a 372 is certainly very noticeable. |

No zen, no balance, all divers. Those "pretties", aka pp/ap, scare me.

Thats a fantastic collection. Personally, swap the nautilus to get a chrono nautilus and swap the exp II for a BLNR
But that is a fantastic collection my friend.

This has fast become my Zen watch. It hasn't been off my wrist. I wait for the light to hit it just so, for a burst of pure purple. It teaches patience and meditation as the pathway to enlightenment lol.

I'd love a Skydweller but I don't see them for less than $25,000. Quite a chunk to drop!

There are some really great collections here. I have found a happy place right now. The only watch on my radar is the Platona, but price is a tad out of my range right now.

Well, I know this is a ROLEX (and high end) watch forum, but are you guys telling me that NO ONE has a sub-$1K "beater/throwaway/mug-bait" watch here - or are you just embarrassed to show it? Myself, I'm at 4 watches now, but honestly, since I got in my 2007 14060M 4-liner No Date Submariner, I find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to wear any of the other three for a full day! I am TOTALLY, HONESTLY, and COMPLETELY smitten with it - the look, the fit, but most of all, the quartz-like accuracy! In four months of ownership, I have had to reset it ONCE, thanks to Daylight Savings Time. Every day I get up and check it against my cable box, and it is NEVER more than +/- 3 seconds. Even more remarkable is that, if one day it's +3 seconds, the VERY next day it's back to EXACT! I swear - this thing is supernatural! I've been through 50+ watches in the last 20 years - it's nice to FINALLY have my "life partner watch". Having said that, there ARE times when I won't wear it - wrenching on a car, going to look at a vintage guitar in some VERY bad neighborhood, or during my nightly hot tub session - for that I have an Armida A9, which is "Submariner-like" ENOUGH that I'm O.K. with it. But yeah - my 14060 DOES "complete me" - when I'm NOT wearing it, I feel like I'm "cheating on" her wearing another watch...

I'm getting there, but it's an expensive process...I currently have a 5980, a 5164 and a Tudor BBN.

I'm with you on this, Tim. Mine may come when my wife puts her foot down (figuratively) and says "No more watch buying for you.'

Is it possible that I've looked to the wrong deity for guidance? Is there a reason the chant "om" sounds like Omega? |
