I choose the black dial DJII for my first rolex. I feel like it is very versatile. It's a great watch!

I chose this one because it really does go with everything. It pairs well with my suits all week and with jeans on the weekends.

I must have disabled the notifications because I had no idea so many had replied to my thread!!!

I greatly appreciate all the input and the amazing photos. The blues are just gorgeous, and I've been reading that to some a watch can be considered separately from your wardrobe as far as matching clothes is concerned.

I.....change my mind from post to post about which is my fav! I find myself leaning towards silver....then a photo of the black stick face looks like it's a sports watch with casual clothes, and a dressier watch with more formal clothes....and I don't know what to get again!

sigh

Take the white/silver dial Datejust and then maybe an Explorer... Then you'll have two of the most versatile pieces Rolex has to offer and I'll bet they'd match with anything you throw at them.

For office/work wear, I got a dome bezel stainless DJ with slate blue face and stick markers. Understated and subtle. Blends with almost everything.

Best of luck and enjoy whatever you decide to pursue.

In SS, I like blue and black stick, black much more versatile though.
