BLNR vs LV
Hi
I see that BLNR and LV have similar pricetags. Mostly in general LV is slightly more expensive than BLNR. But in some places I see BLNR is priced a bit more. Do you notice that as well?

Interesting I paid less for my new BLNR and find it much harder to source than LVC.

Interesting. One would think a more complicated complication would cost more?

I'm not sure where you are seeing this. A quick search on watch recon shows Hulk is less than BLNR.

In Thailand the BLNR is 293,000 THB and the LVC is 320,000. That's 27,000 THB difference or US$ 753

I would pay 5K-ish for a Hulk and 5.5 for a BLNR.

BLnr is harder to find than the Lv here in miami and is also more expensive in the second hand market, i can get an Lv used for $7500, the BLnR is not less than $8000 sometimes $8.5k used. But I think that would change in the future when the LV goes out of production 👍. I also own both and I love them the same

I assume the OP is referencing list price; the forum sticky that shows 2015 list prices pegs the Hulk at $9050 and the BLNR at $8950 here in the USA. The "real" price is obviously driven by demand so net prices seem to show the BLNR usually sells for about 5% more than an LV on average based on my completely unscientific survey and depends on many factors (AD vs trusted seller, gently used vs new, etc). I would actually expect to pay slightly less for a BLNR than an LV at my Rolex AD but slightly more otherwise.

guessing more people change their mind about the bold green than the subtle touch of blue but both watches hold their value pretty well

List price for Hulk is slightly higher than BLNR.
However Hulk has had a longer production run (years so far) and hence more out there on second hand market and so slightly cheaper SECOND HAND. |

It's the green dial that makes it a tad more expensive.

Here in Vancouver, the LV is a little bit more expensive than the BLNR, In addition, ADs here do not offer discounts for the LV and it has a much longer waiting time (7 months) than the BLNR (1 or 2 months).
So far, I have seen 2 BLNRs and only 1 LV. The LV I saw was worn by a young lady working for an Omega AD. |

The BLNR is more sought-after than the LVc in the gray market here. But they are about the same demanding level in ADs. So you would see the price for the pre-owned BLNR is higher than the LVc in the same condition, although the MSRP of the new LVc is a little higher than the BLNR in ADs.

With my experience, both have been hard to find in stock at an AD.

I have both, love both. The LV is £100 (US$ 150) more than the BLNR. in the UK. In Singapore, both sell at above retail price because of the short supply and high demand. At my AD in Singapore, the LV goes for S$200 more, which is roughly the same difference as the UK.
