3rd will be 116300...

Either one is just great. Can't go wrong.

I just bought my first one 3 weeks ago and I honestly don't think I'll have a second Rolex. I feel like the Explorer covers all of the bases for me.
If I buy another quality watch it'll be the Black Bay Black.

I started with a TT DJ bought new in 1989. It was my only Rolex for 11 years when I decided I'd by a TT Sub for my 50th birthday. At an AD, I tried on the TT Sub and then a SS Sub. In a split second, I realized with the Sub it should be SS and that was Rolex #2. About 6 years later, I bought Rolex #3, a SS GMT II Pepsi. With that, I've been done with Rolex's for 9 years now. None of the new ones appeal to me but I love my three earlier style Rolex's.

I had a 14060 2 liner in 1999. Bought an Airking rose gold with Arabic numerals. Sold both;regretted especially the 14060. Went through a phase of IWC, PAM before going full circle back to Rolex. Got the 16750 M and then a 16600 D before trading the D for a U series

Bought a gold Daytona with blue Arab dial one year after stainless steel Daytona with black face. Next one I hope to get will be a 1973 Daytona, year I was born.
