Does your Rolex AD keep . . .
. . . your Warranty Card and Statement of Value for 30 days after purchase?
If so, any idea why? |

No way. I'd go back to the AD and yell "WTF" to him/her.

Some do. Not a big deal. It's in case you want to return it, I believe.

No, and if I was aware of a policy like this I would shop else where.

I would never let an AD keep anything of mine if I'd just purchased it.

Why is it some AD's do things like this. I can't imagine paying for my watch and leaving these things behind... Some act as if they're doing us a favor for spending $10k plus on a watch.

If they did I'd buy elsewhere.

When I bought my OP 39mm my AD said I would get the card in the mail after 30 days. They have a 10 day refund and 30 day exchange policy. Made sense to me.
However, when I bought my BLNR, I got the warranty card and everything right then. I had the BLNR on order for 3 weeks and they ended up shipping the the watch from another store for me. I don't know if that made a difference or not. |

Some do in case of returns. So they won't fill out the card until they send it to you 30 days later. Otherwise it's a big issue for them to get a new card for a returned piece.
Personally I will not buy from such an AD. |

My AD only keeps the card if the watch is a gift for the return or exchange policy but if the watch is sized or you wear it out they fill out the warranty card and you take it with you.
