Tudor Black Bay or Omega Speedmaster Racing???

Just wondering how you guys felt about these two watches? Which would you choose and why. I would be wearing Tudor with fabric strap and Omega with rubber Strap. I Already have a steel bracelet watch.

I know many will say what ever I like best then I should get. I like both. I'm looking for your opinions or facts on one or both watches.

Thanks

Three questions. Do you use a chrono. Do you need a chrono.
Are you buying for looks?
If you need/use a chronograph it's a no brainer!
If you are buying for looks remember chronographs cost more to service.

Between these 2, I like the BlackBay.
Dont like the subdials on the Speedmaster Racing..reminds me of the eyes of a fly.
I prefer the regular speedy pro for a chrono

No I dont have a Need for chrono. Service price is not a factor. I am buying for looks and I would like to get the better watch. I would think Omega would be the better of two just like I think rolex is better than Omega. But honestly I couldn't tell you why only that I am more familiar with it.

Buy what YOU want to wear ! This is where the money should be spent !

That said, IMHO the Omega Speedy is more of a true WIS caliber and case appreciation model, while the new Tudor Black Bay is more of a style-conscience choice.

I love the Black Bay so that is what appeals to me, but again, the movements are not in the same class.

Let your heart sing to you and go for the one that pulls you to it hardest.

You should be comparing the Tudor Heritage Chrono to the Omega Speedmaster Racing. My choice would be the THC.

Get what sings to you....

I definitely wan a Speedy someday.... But I've discovered I don't like Chronographs myself... every time I glance at the Dial... I think... is it 12 O'Clock!????

As of this week I have both the THC and the Speedmaster Professional. If I wanted a watch because I needed the chrono I would choose the Speedmaster hands down. You don't have to unscrew the pushers and the dial is easier to read. But the THC is hands down way cooler on the wrist. No one has ever noticed a watch I was wearing until I wore the THC.

Tudor BB for me, partly because I'm not a racing/chrono fan.

Simple and uncomplicated, easy to read and with a retro vibe.

'Nuff said.

If service cost is no problem then my guess is the watch price isn't much of an issue either. Thus, I would say neither. You could defineltly get something much much nicer than either.

Chrono movements makes me immediately thing zenith El Primero. Not just a chrono but the chrono...

I'm a huge fan of Tudor watches currently owning 2 of them and for me - there would be no dilemma. I would rather compare Speedy to Tudor Heritage Chrono, but between the two mentioned - I would go for Tudor BB in a heartbeat.
