Yes, in some literature, but it's widely called a crown. You'll see "button" once in a while though.

No this is for service of a 1665 DRSD not Daytona.
Daytona buttons I can understand if used but here it's being referred to a Sea Dweller. Interesting term for sure wonder if anyone else who has recently got a service quote from RSC ( non Daytona ) eg for a dive watch , GMT if it mentions word button or crown ? |

No it's ok you're right in some cases in here you do need a thick skin when you post questions and see some responses I have seen some very harsh comments / insults made also which you're right are totally unecessary and anyone without a thick skin would be offended
