Not trying to stir up the pot, however, I find it funny that if you start with a fake Rolex and add real parts it's still a fake. On the flipside, it seems as though people feel that if you start with a real Rolex and add fake parts it's still somehow real.

Love the white dial version. Would love to see a new daytona look something like this. I would like to see a screw down pushers version though.

Well it's like the story goes.
I will never give away Grandpas ax
I've changed the handle twice and the head once but it will always be Grandpas ax.

Take a real Rolex and change this and change that and no matter what as long as you started with a real Rolex someone will always believe it's still a real Rolex

One thing I have noticed about Rolex is they don't go backwards. It's always a new and better way. Improving the next generation of that particular model. Tudor on the other hand, will throw one into retro in a New York minute!

Well the second is classed as a franken, not a fake, as it was made by the OEM.

I don't consider it a fake but discussion aside, it looks amazing, I also rather buy the original but it won't be $22K

Screw-down pushers have nothing to do with water resistance, they just keep you from being able to accidentally engage them, be it underwater, or otherwise.

If they'd done the 6265, they could have kept the screw-down pushers.

Then you'd have a polished case, new bezel, and new dial... But for $10K premium? I don't think it's worth it.

I do love the dial, though, and wish Rolex would do a real Panda dial like this for the SS Daytona (rings don't cut it on the sub dials, they need to be solid circles).

6 to 8 week waiting period for this - I must confess I reached out to them... Don't think I can justify 10k premium for this mod, but it looks fantastic...
