It does need a new crystal therefore it looks like there is a notch at 12.

Unfortunately I only took the reference side off of the watch to see what it was.

By not super valuable, what do you suggest this watch is worth? Seller is asking under 2k CAD.

I have also considered harvesting the movement from this and throwing it in a sub case (which vintage purists oppose to doing) but I don't think that's possible because of the date function on this movement.
