I'm still in the process of upgrading mine. I've got a 2,900,*** serial number, and a straight second hand. My next step is to replace the refinished dial for a Mk 1 or MK 2.

I aspire to your watch.

Once again, sweet watch.

Now that you mention it, it does seem to fit alongside those two Tudors. Interesting idea, thanks for sharing.

A huge congratulations. What an amazing reference and in fantastic condition. It's probably my favourite vintage piece. Wear it in good health and don't put in near a safe

Beautiful. Condition looks fantastic and I love the chamfer on the lugs.

I love this reference and it makes my 2003 mint exp2 look rubbish!!

Not at all, that reference 16570 is a great watch for sure, by no means rubbish.

Cool project. You should look over at VFR for a loose dial for your 1655, maybe even a hand set, depending on your plans. You could also post a WTB. Pricey, yes, but worth it in the end. Good luck!

Thanks, all, for the comments on my 1655!
