Rolex GMT Master II Bracelet Question
Hello:
I just bought a new GMT Master II with stainless and gold bracelet from an AD here in Denver. Got a question, I have owned the SS Sub for sometime and never had this issue. On the GMT the bracelet has a "squeak". The AD had to remove a couple links for it to fit my wrist, but I doubt thats the problem. Any suggestions? Is this normal? Will it break in and stop squeaking? |

Greetings,
I too received a new GMT II this week (all steel version) and I've noticed the same thing. Only a minor complaint but I have no concern (and hope I don't need to be). I'm with ya!! |

Very common with a new bracelet, wear it for a month and it will break in and smooth out.

The squeak should go away after some time of your wearing the watch. Its usually just a sign that the bracelet is settling in since its never really been worn until you purchased it.
No worries, the bracelet is veeeery durable and is tougher than nails.

It squeaks until it's paid off.

Well then it shouldn't squeak, I paid cash for it.
Anyways thanks for all your replies. I wasn't concerned about the duribility of the bracelet since its a Rolex and is under warranty, just was a little concerned about the squeak. Thanks again everyone. |
