Sub rolex questions

I came across a rolex sub two toNE gold and ss. But the pearl is red do they make them with the pearl red. Here a pic of another one not the one but it's a picture.

To the best of my knowledge, ROLEX never made that pearl. Be cautious with this watch.

Rolex never made "red" pearl, but they did make a batch in the early/mid-'80s that took on a very dark reddish/orange color as they aged. You see them a lot on the early sapphire Subs, like the one in the borrowed photo here of a 16800. The pearl in the OP's photo looks red, yes, but it could be the lighting making it more red than it really is.

Looks like an old tritium pip that has patina.

Picture is really poor and I would not even consider the watch if that is all you have to go by

i have a 16800 pearl similar to that. the pearls on the early 80s watches can turn a burnt orange. really cool if you ask me. this watch looks like a 16803, so definitely possible to have a pearl that is similar to what you see on 16800s.

Wow! very cool 16800 ... matte dial, blueish insert with an burnt orange pearl! I love it
