What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

I fly with a boat load of ex Sea King Drivers and NONE of them have ever heard of this thing.
I'm pretty certain none of them even own a Rolex. Not on Navy pay anyways!

It's an SH-3 helicopter. The US Navy used to have a "boat load" of them.

A scary old, very old, extremely old helicopter.

Cool watch though.

Good one, Jocke!

I thought Rolex discontinued the Sea King a long time ago. I had no idea they were still producing them as recently as March 2014. So that would be a three year warranty then, correct?

I think you meant to ask what is the Sea King Rolex.

I hope someone will correct me but I seem to remember posts about someone who had these "sea King" engraved case backs made and then put them on real Rolex watches.

I seem to remember the last one I saw was a Polar Explorer 42mm.

Either way, they are in no way like the Comex or Tiffany or any other Rolex made watches. But the seller went on and on about how Rolex did make them.

Presumably this was a way for him to sell a watch for a ridiculous price to people who thought it was Rolex produced.

They were never produced by Rolex. This was the best thing I could find on it, supposedly posted by one of the people originally involved with them:
