BLNR Cyclops - Help needed from TRF
I bought a new BLNR on the 12th this month from a local AD and after setting the date I noticed a small scrap of metal stuck on the date wheel that only showed up on the 12th. I pointed it out to the AD who offered me an additional discount off the watch if I wanted to send it to the RSC to get it fixed. I agreed since I thought it was a good deal. Now looking back at the pictures I took at the AD before sending the watch off I'm beginning to wonder if the mag on the cyclops is a little low. I figured I'd ask now while the watch is still at the RSC. Any help from the TRF QA team would be of great help! I have more pictures if needed too.

Looks OK to me. I've always understood that the corners of the date window should (more or less) fit into the ends of the horizontal sides of the cyclops.

mag looks fine, other owners of the BLNR have had mag issues at 1.5 instead of 2.5 (not even sure that's official anymore) but the 1.5 is very noticeable.

Mag is OK, should be a similar size to the Bezel 6.

Mag is fine, but a metal chip on the 12th date number... Not ok!

That mag looks fine to my eyes... I'd loupe the date and see if it's just scratch on the date wheel. If it's a piece of something, I'd get this looked at via RSC while it's still under warranty.

Thanks all!! I'm looking forward to having her back from the RSC in a couple weeks since they apparently expedited the service on the date wheel.

I'd be a lot more concerned bout metal bits in my BLNR than the cyclops!

The marking on the date wheel is weird on a new BLNR, glad RSC is fixing that for you.
