Greetings all,

Just curious to know if anyone has come across any fakes passing as "genuine" on the 50th anniversary GMT II. Any particulars or details to account for that may clearly reveal a fake? Any other issues, thoughts, suggestions?

I figured I'd throw this out as there are a flood of them "wandering around" and I wanted to be educated by this esteemed group.

Yes I have seen one. It is scary good. The cyclops and ceramic bezel are the give away. For an uneducated person, they could not tell the difference.

I bet they were out before the real ones hit the dealerships...
It's sad for sure but what can you do.

I have a friend who lives in NY and goes over to Asia quite a bit for work
he tells me between Canal Street back rooms and Hong Kong you can
find anything you want in a knock off.
