No, it's not the "wrong" crown. I took it to Rik Dietel (watchmaker) today to look at it. It's an authentic 603 Twinlock crown....no issue. And it doesn't look like it's been polished or ground down. Nor does it appear tbe movement has been serviced, so not a service crown either. It just doesn't have the line under the coronet for some reason. It's a mystery....but no cause for concern according to Rik.
