Black Bay Chronometer?
My new black bay black is running +5.1 so far as I get towards the end of week one (see below).
But - one thing that interested me was that in my box was a Tudor official chronometer certification (also see below). I do not believe that the Black Bay ETA movement is a certified chronometer (although +5.1 is within spec) and so I assume that the sales staff at the AD put the COSC certificate in my BB box by mistake. Unless anyone here knows different? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That box doesn't usually come with the Black Bay either. Looks like the one that comes with the North Flag, which is a Chronometer, and some others.

Interesting. The watch was in the display case, so it looks like the salesman just grabbed the wrong box (including COSC certificate) but managed to include the correct BB manual. Maybe I'll get them to switch it for the correct box at some point, but I'm not that fussed. Happy with the watch, which is the main thing for me. Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't get too concerned if you just got the watch. I know my Yachtmaster ran about 5 seconds fast per day for the first couple of weeks and then settled in to about 1.5 seconds per day after a month or so. Nice watch by the way!!

If I were you I would change it, in case you want to move it on in the future. |
