I'm looking for a SS GMT2 Black, a popular model, which may not be available when I'm there. It's ok, will take my chances!
That's a popular model, I'd also look on chrono24 for resellers in London and Amsterdam like Precision Watches. They will have best prices.

They might even help you if you email or call ahead for the model that you want. I bought a LVc and they even offered me a black daytona when I was there.

They helped me fill in the VAT and yes, you have to claim the VAT after checking past customs but it was a very easy and quick process. There were no lines inside the airport but there was quite a bit of a line at the outside of the airport to claim VAT.

Best to ask for a refund in cash, rather than wait for the funds to be credited back to your credit card.

Thank you! Great advice.

In Amsterdam you have 3 AD shops, Gassan on Dam square, Gassan Rolex Butique close to Nieuwmarkt and Schaap & Citroen at PC hooftstraat. At S&C and Gassan butique don't expect discounts except the VAT. Maybe you can get some at Gassan Dam Square. The Gassan shop at the airport is 18% cheaper (-VAT) then in the city. Only problem is that the models such as HULK, BATMAN and DAYTONA are alomst never on stock.. Good luck!
Thanks very helpful! Lately have been thinking of going Batman instead. We will see. But yes will check out Amsterdam city as well.

I've seen Chrono24 but have always been leery -- legit site and legit sellers?

ADs in London, Amsterdam, Zurich?

The SS GMT LN is regularly available in London on Regent Street and Oxford Street.

£5600 which becomes £4666.67 if you are exporting outside of The EU.

Best news I've heard all day! That can't be beat, even by Gassan. Will they handle VAT paperwork? How do they validate that you are leaving EU? Air ticket?

Which dealers specifically?

I would think all the London AD's will be able to handle the VAT paperwork, given the tourist trade in London. Certainly the Rolex Boutique in Knightsbridge will, as will Harrods just down the road.

I would suggest the Rolex boutique at Zurich airport - great service and the biggest selection I have seen anywhere! They are a branch of Bucherer and there email address is [email protected]
They will manage the VAT etc there and then.

You will trip over the LN but need to get lucky for BLNR.
