Datejust 41 Bracelet

Anybody else disappointed that they put man Oyster clasp on the Jubilee bracelet of the DJ41s? It looks so out of place to me, compared to the crown clasp.

As others have commented, it was done to accommodate the easylink feature. When you think about it, jubilee bracelets historically had plain clasps for several decades, although the hidden clasp does look more finished/refined.

I'm not sure that Everose hidden clasps for Super jubilee bracelets even exist.

I was disappointed. I think they should have made it a hidden claps.

Add me to the list of the disappointed... after years of anticipation, and no chance of turning back to the 36mm. The super jubilee with hidden class added refinement and elegance that mimicked that of the presidential bracelet. IMO.

It doesn't bother me. I wore a Jubilee for many years with a clasp. It seems normal to me. I like the Ez Link, I used it today as a matter or fact. There are a lot of positives about the new DJ41 that far outweigh this minor issue.

i like it. looks retro cool! and rolex probably didn't want these watches to eat into sales of DD models (PM=higher profit) by offering all the coolness

I don't mind it at all and I love the easy link. I use the easy link on my watches every day.
Living in a country that changes from hot-hotter-frickin baking and back to hot again it's nice to have that little adjustment option. My wrist is about 3 different sizes throughout the day depending on whether I'm working in my office or outside.
In saying all of that I wouldn't consider getting the new bracelet until it is all SS, whenever that is.

To me if Rolex wanted to make the clasp patently obvious, they should have gone for a Submariner type clasp where there are multiple micro adjustments as the disposal of the wearer.

However, Rolex has gone very light this year on technical updates (apart from the new 41DJ movement most updates this year (if not all) are by and large are cosmetic) and if Rolex really put their mind to it, they could have developed a new Jubilee concealed clasp with multiple on the fly micro adjustments.

I won't be flipping my 36m DJ with hidden clasp for the new version.

I would have bought it off the bat if they had the hidden clasp!
