Flip.. but for what

Hey guys, I'm looking at flipping my current 16610 sub for either a BLNR or Daytona. The lack of a complication, besides the date, really has turned me away from my current piece. Anyone had a similar decision to make? Price wise, they wouldn't be too far off, but looks and functionality wise, they are indeed very different watches. Input or pics from owners out there? Much appreciated!

You say you like the date function so get the blnr. In the meantime get on a waitlist for new Daytona and save because if your not on a list yet you won't see one this year /thread.

I'd vote blnr if functionality/complication is a priority from the sound of your post op..unless you make use of the chronograph much more than the more common date and time zone feature of the gmt.

The new Daytona is a spectacular piece, but it all boils down to what you like and need.

Thanks for the quick replies! I've been offered either the BLNR new or a z Daytona with box and books (no card) for equal price after trade in of that makes a difference in the trade in decision. I've had a chance to try on both and do want both in a collection eventually, so I don't think this will turn into another flip question a year down the line.

That's a sweet picture. And I originally thought about about a c-sub, but the smaller proportions of the older sub seemed more appealing at the time.
