New Tudor "Rivet" Bracelet Q's

Really interested in the new rivet style bracelet but can't find any decent photos. What kind of clasp does it have? And how are links added/removed for sizing? Something clever, I'll bet.

It seems no one knows. You raise an interesting question though, how do you size the bracelet?

I'd guess the last few links near the clasp are removable on both sides.

They'd have to be, but how do you maintain the look of the riveted bracelet? Domed screws? The photos we've seen so far don't show much.

From the photos, I question if they are simulated rivet look links.

I'm guessing that clasp should be the same as the one on previous Black Bay models.

I have been thinking about this a little more... What about if the "rivets" on the removable links are actually screws with a recessed area to fit a tiny allen wrench? A regular screwdriver slot would be too obvious and ruin the look.

It looks like the removable links are just the same screws as the old bracelet with no attempt to simulate a rivet head.

The clasp looks the same, with no rivet heads on the last link to allow for the micro adjustment to work.

The pictures below are screen shots from Ariel Adam's review on A Blog To Watch, you can see the screws by his index finger.

^ Thanks for the pics and the video review link. Personally I'm not feeling that new rivet bracelet (looks too busy) but that's just me.

Thanks for the info, Cryten. That looks really bad - I hope they come up with something more "simulated" for the production model.

Yeah, I think it would look better with the older dial with the curved text.

I'm not a fan either, but that Black Bay Dark? My life won't be complete until I have one.

That's just a regular Black Bay. BB Dark doesn't have the end links or rivet bracelet.

That's pure watch porn right there

It's a shame about the end links but it looks better on a strap anyway.

I think they perfectly executed this bracelet and it matches the heritage design of the case and dial very well.
Now let's hope it didn't get too much thicker than the previous BB.

I need the BB Dark dial and insert on a regular steel case BB with the rivet bracelet.

Then I'll just sit in the corner being happy. :)

Thanks for the link.
What a shame, they 'updated' the dial. The curved text and the rose were a big plus for me!!
