Getting Rolex To Change Color Of Lume? Possible?
Hey guys. Quick question.
I have a 39mm OP with grey dial + blue dots. Was wondering why Rolex didn't include blue lume with this? Is this something you can send back to Rolex to change? Price is another thing, but just curious if small personalised options like this are possible via Rolex? Many thanks in advance. |

Unfortunately you're out of luck with this. You might want to have someone who "re lumes" dials change it but then once again you're out of luck if you ever want Rolex to service it as they'll return it back to original and keep the re lumed dial.

The blue Chromalight lume is exclusive to sports models. Just picked up a new DJ and it has the green lume (which I'm perfectly fine with)

All rolex Lume is terrible, no matter the color. No advantage to changing it

I had a Breitling Galactic. The lume on that would last all night. First thing in the morning when I would get up at 05:00 with no lights on, the hands and hour markers were still very visible. I never "charged" the lume with a light either.
