Current Blackbay with ETA question?

Are all 3 Blackbay's with the ETA movement, rose on the dial and rotor winding text being discountinued or staying in the range for a bit?

The Black Bay Black is being discontinued and I will ask about the others.

You may be right. It will be interesting to follow the prices on ETA Black Bays. After all ETA has always been a part of Tudor.

My ad had one left on a strap. I am picking it up next week. They had ordered a bracelet for my blue BB for me and that has come in so I will grab that as well. Now if I can just pry one of those Rolex strap tools away from them??

I am glad a I got a BB Black when I did, as I like more than than the new version.

I assume that Tudor will take all watches they produce with ETAs and move them to in-house movements over time. Probably sports watches first, as I suspect those are their best sellers.

Ranger next for an upgrade is my guess, probably in fall.

Maybe the guys can ask Tudor at the Las Vegas GTG in a few weeks.

It is been replaced with the new in house movement but the BBB its stiil out there

always wanted the bb black since it came out, but now gotta decide if i want the "now vintage" smiley eta or new 70hr power reserve. would be easy enough to decide but the new black bay 36 looks amazing and now its a 3 way decision.

I think the black has a very good chance of becoming collectible. Another benefit in addition to the rose-logo dial (which most seem to find preferable according to a poll), is the very comfortable flat case back. The new version has more of a bubble-back and will likely move around more on the wrist, requiring more careful fitting. Mine (in fact all my RSC-regulated Tudor ETAs) runs as accurately as, if not better than, any of my Rolex watches, so I'm not concerned about the in-house movement.

Having said that, the Sub 168000 was only made for a few months, and seems to not command any kind of a premium over the 16800 or 16610.

But if I had money to stash a couple of full-set safe queens, I would probably make them the older BBB.
