Platnium ym 116622 retired
I was in the Rolex boutique today and the guy told me that the ym is going to be retired now that the new color has been announced. Is he mistaken you think? It's still on Rolex.com

I hope not as well. While Rolex has some great colorways coming out that will draw more attention to this reference like the blue dial has, the platinum scheme is classic and unique to this reference. They should keep it for posterity.

Not sure BUT I don't trust the salesperson. Yesterday I went to an AD to ask about the white gold DD36 with white dial Roman numerals and I was told this model is discontinued. I checked with another AD, they said it is still available but need to order.

The new YM is the Everrose and Stainless. The 116622 SS YM is still available with a Blue dial or the Platinum dial.
