Icon20 Fake rolexs

How can you know 4 sure that the Rolex u see online is real. There r thousands of Rolexs online 4 sale, how can u tell 4 sure that there real? I have seen some unbelievable fakes, even the mov't are the same colors, even the wheels. Has it come to a time now that u just can't trust anyone any more

i wouldn't trust anything online from places like ebay. You can get scammed big time. Usually, the pictures are stolen and not even the actual watch you will receive.

buy from trusted members here such as TEMPOKING, or from an Authorized dealer.

When you see something on line for sale you have NO clue if its real or fake.

I would imagine a photo of a genuine watch would be posted,, why not?

My question has always been to seller on ebay,, how do I know the watch in the picture is the watch I am getting??

so beware of pictures big time.

I am sure a scammer would use great pristine pictues of real authentic rolexes.. Why put a pic of a fake one up.

so dont get too involved in analyzing the picture ever.

one way to know if they have the watch is to have them send a picture of an exact time of your choosing.
also, there are many ways to tell if a watch is real or not,you just have to have a trained eye and know what your looking for-and if you have seen a fake with a the anodized wheels I would be really surprised!more liekly it was a real move, ent in a fake case.

The only way not to buy a fake is to go to a ROLEX authorized dealer!

Then you know for sure you have the real thing!

It is scary because i've heard you can buy great fakes for a few hundred dollars where the movement looks authentic and sell them for thousands. I wondered sometimes that if you take a watch to get authenticated by an AD, when they open it up can they really tell if its real; i'm assuming they just take superficial looks of the movement. So in the end the best way is to send it in for service and have RSC take apart every piece. And lets say you do find out its a fake and try to send it back...what if the seller says "i sent you a real one and the one YOU are trying to send back for a refund is a fake"

So what do you drive while wearing your overpriced fake? I don't understand who you were making fun of, yourself or someone who drives an M3 who wears a real Rolex.

Man I'm not wearing it...are you kidding me ?? I hate to have people staring at my wrist...even if it was real. And it's a bad example for my staff too...kinda don't like the idea of them thinking " we bust our asses and he gets all the money.."...no no no...

I'm sure those same real Rolex wearing "suckers" driving the 2nd hand BMW M3's get a kick out of the "posers" wearing Folex's at the bus stop as they drive by....food for thought

Buying online is definitely risky. Best to go with trusted members of this forum. I recently purchased an SD on ebay, AFTER doing a ton of dilligence. The guy I bought it from has his own little store and over 1300 100% positive feedback selling almost all Rolex watches. You can buy from an honest ebayer, but its few and far between.

I hardly see how a Polo shirt qualifies as "wannabe college". I thought it was just a shirt. I guess I should consider the source of the comment since I've also never really understood what motivates someone to be a poser. Care to enlighten me? I'll keep an eye out for your Fiero with the "cool guy" Ferrari body kit cruising the local mall on Friday night.

try to stay away from online buys. Go to an AD that carry some previously owned. i Would never buy from from an online unless i can fisically go to their store and see, feel and try the watch. those are my 2 cents.
