15400 is a wonderful watch with the elegance, finesse and presence few others could match. I love (and use) the cr@p out mine but I am about to pull the trigger on a 116610 and feel that they are sufficiently different and will surely complement each other. I envy those who have the restraint to only live with one watch.

Too bad you let the BLNR go Sam!
Such a gorgeous reference and really no Comparison to the SD C ... A nice switch up if you will... Not really sure about the 15400 But maybe you'll acquire the BLNR again !!! |

Good move.
I remember when your Rolex pair was the 116600 and the 116520. It was the same pair that I had, and I thought "Now here's a guy who has some taste." I also have a BLNR on the way, and also will probably pick up a 116500 some day. But if I had to sell them all and keep only one watch, it would definitely be the 116600. I've said it many times here - it's the perfect Rolex diver. |

Hi Sam, Sorry to hear you let go of the custom 114060 and BLNR. That matte bezel was fantastic
Curious to hear why you let the BLNR go after a relatively short period. Anything in particular that didn't speak to you (PCL, cyclops, etc)? The SDc is a great watch and I look forward to seeing if you do go down the AP route.

It's hard to beat that sd4k. However I love the no date and BLNR too but Guess sometimes somethings gotta give! I would pick the new white Daytona ceramic over the 15400 but the 15400 over the BLNR and no date any day. Just has an edge over the two.. A real classy watch

Love mine but after wearing it for 30 days straight, I haven't been able to look at it for a while.

Superb photography and nice watch. I'm now one watch man, I even sold my 1996 TAG at the weekend. I do have a Casio for running though - more accurate than my DD!
