15400st vs 26320st

Hi,

I am considering between 15400st white/black and 26320st blue, is it worth the extra money for the 26320st blue? Since it's not an inhouse movement, the case back isnt transparent and an older model. Thank you.

Leo

Different type of watches depends if your willing to pay extra for a 26320 if you prefer the blue dial go with the 15400 blue dial

In my opinion 26320 looks better on the face, but 15400 has that beautiful rotor visible on the case back! Toss up between the two!

26320 Blue is a beautiful piece! I have a blue dialed AP, so if it were me, I'd save the coin and get the Silver 400.

I decided to get the 15400st but still cant decide between black or white, not going to get the blue as BT doesnt offer any discount.

I went black. The silver shows the details in the dial better, but it's a bit too monochromatic for me. I liked the contrast the black offered. I really love how the white gold batons pop off the black dial.

You can't lose either way though.

I own this one and love it...Would even consider adding the blue to this for a change up.

Try both on 26320 and 15400...Very different on the wrist even though the case sizes are same.

Tough choice... Different watches. Do you want the chrono complication? Have you tried both on? Which one "sings" more?

I'd go for the ROC, the subdials fill up the large dial better.

Two different watches. Depends if you want the chrono function. The 26320 has a beefier, better wrist presence. If you are not a movement snob like me, the existing movement ( Frederic Piguet I think ) in the 26320 is well regarded despite not being in-house. Try out both to decide for yourself.

I was in your position a few months ago in a AP boutique in Ginza. I had the choice of either blue dial 15400 or 26320. In the end I went for the 26320, it felt more unique whilst being just as versatile.

Either way, they are both beautiful pieces and you can't go wrong with either one.

Pay no regard to the in-house movement issue. The F. Piguet adaptation for the chronograph is one of the finest movements available. For me, the size of the watch suits the dial arrangement for a chronograph. 26320 for me all day long.

Id go 15400, but i guess depends on what else you have in your current collection... ultimately you should just go for what sings to you the most

Having the same dilemma. I love the blue dial but feel it isn't as versatile as the black. The chrono sub dials add a depth to the dial since the registers are a shiny finish and give good contrast to the dial. My decision will come down to availability of blue v discount for the chrono.
