Thanks for that - I might have to get the watch in Europe. Although having said that, I'd declare it at the border and have to pay 3% duty on it (at least I think that's how much one typically pays). It might still be worth it to do that. I once brought in a cheap watch ($1000), declared it at the border, and the customs officer actually had me pay $30 in customs duty on the watch. He wasted an hour of my time and his time for $30 which was totally ridiculous.
