Any Syracuse University students/Professors?
I rarely see any decent watches on campus (Yes I pay a lot of attention on what people are wearing )
So I'm just wondering any Syracuse students/professors/fans on TRF? And here some pics of my Tudor Black Bay around campus hope you like them :) I tried to focused on both the beautiful campus and the watch :D Have a great day! |

Syracuse is awesome. Im from a little city not too far away, its called Auburn. However i moved south after joining the military and stayed here when i got out. Might have had to do with a little something called SNOW. Very nice Tudor Black Bay by the way

I wasn't very into watches in my college days in the late 80's and felt lucky when I had three digits in my checking account. And since this hobby requires some money, I'm not sure many students are active in it.
I now live near Purdue and my general impression is that many here aren't WISs and tend to be more practical. Watch shops in town carry brands like Seiko, Citizen, Movado Quartz watches and Ball, Tissot and recently Hamilton automatics. My guess is Syracuse would be similar. I have a friend who grew up there. Nice town he said. Close to the Finger Lakes and wineries and Watkins Glen.

Writing from my office here in North Syracuse. Thrilled to see another TRF member from 'Cuse. Are you a student at SU? I have one friend that I can talk watches with fluently. Other than that, the only others are my father and uncle, who are well established collectors. looking forward to hearing back from you.

I was in Syracuse today for work. My wife works there as well. There's actually a nice AD in East Syracuse. Well nice as in better than driving to Albany or NYC.

The AD in Syracuse has a gentleman working there who is quite knowledgeable not only about Rolex but watches in general. He's been there a while and is enjoyable to talk to
