I had the same thing happen to me this weekend. I was checking in to a hotel in Huntington Beach and I could feel the clerk eyeing my SS Daytona. I figured he was a watch enthusiast as well. At the end of the checking in process, he says "nice watch! Is that an invicta?" I said it's a Daytona. He had no clue what I was talking about. Haha
