Why not pick one up from our classified section? You can get a link that came off of a Daytona, Smurf, etc.

Nothing in life is free... not even the diet coke that some AD's give.
I had an extra link for my GMT in SS - sold it for $100 on this forum.
I recently purchased a SS link for my AP RO. I paid close to $300 I think...
$800 for gold seems okay to me.

Your AD could be kind enough to give you this link at no charge, considering you buy him a 38k$ Watch , and knowing this will generate a 14k$ income for him ...

Anyway if you have to pay it , you should know that official Rolex MSRP for this link is 810$ without tax ... in Europe (Germany) it's 700€ tax included.

Where this 875€ comes from ?

At first I read the header too fast and saw "BLNR" not "BLRO" and was baffled by the price.

Yeah, the PM links are not cheap. As already said, I think the AD will provide steel easy enough unless you really squeezed them on the price. If they give you gold links for free...maybe you over paid for the watch

True enough, but you realize, in one 18k link there is only about $150 worth of gold if even that. So price wise, they certainly do have a comfortable margin.

This thread makes me appreciate my 7.25in wrists. I'm not ready to shell out $900+ for a single link. Not ready at all!

What about the screw pins?

Also, the links are in direct lateral contact; it's impossible for them not to rub against each other as the watch is worn.

I'm glad I needed to remove one from from my watches instead of add one.

Wait, are you seriously trying to say that the gold and steel somehow don't come into contact with each other in a two-tone bracelet?

In that case, how do you explain this?

Haha. Didn't even think about that one. Surprised it took someone long enough to bring that one up!

Is this standard practise or is my AD taking advantage of me? My understanding is that Rolex will provide up to 3 additional links for steel bracelets at the time of purchase free of charge, does this not apply to Gold watches too?

Thanks!
