Well technically at cruising altitude especially with autopilot on that would be much much safer!

I actually laughed out loud with this, because I've done this a couple of times (huuuge parking lot by house in the middle of the night and not in a public thoroughfare).

Was trying out a 1000 lumens flashlight. Test was successful; better than the crappy yellow halogens in my brother-in-law's Mustang.
