California Rolex/Tudor Watches
This issue has brought up a lot of controversy lately and there is a lot of passion behind the opinions of the validity of these watches. Here is a reviewer that has posted an article on E-Bay about the very topic for your perusal. It should stimulate some lively discussion.
http://reviews.ebay.com/California-D...00000000821781 I have reported many of these watches in the last week or so. I am passionate about removing fakes from E-bay as I detest seeing my fellow person being ripped off. Terry Newton

Terry, I believe that is the same link I alluded to a few months ago. If not, it's close to what the other poser (a seller of something that purports to be something it isn't) had posted on the bay. It is a bunch of hype by someone trying to convince others about something that never was and never will be. I laughed at the statement he made about a Tudor being considered just another Rolex model like a Datejust.
A Tudor is not a Rolex, no matter what anybody places on ebay or any other website. The Rolex dials are trademark infringement and fraud. The problem is the consumers who buy the watches from guys like this poser buy into his and others scam and usually find out too late that all they really have is a Tudor with a fake dial. To me, it is apparant that Rolex really doesn't get too excited about this abuse, as I don't believe they have really done anything to stop it. There really isn't a controversy here, just posers hyping Tudors as Rolexes to make a quick buck. There are many gullible people out there.

John:
That is my impression as well. I think a fake in fake's clothing is still a fake. WOW! Was that profound or what. I think they need to be reported for what they are; a watch that is neither a Rolex nor a Tudor. It should be a Rouder! Any other opinions before we close the chapter on these watches and continue to get them banned forever more? Terry Newton

Err buddy Terry...thanks for bringing this up...
As far as Orchi is concerned...neither ROLEX nor TUDOR ever made such freaking watches to begin with...NEVER did n NEVER will be.. Irrespective of whatever any of the Sellers or any of the so called 'acclaimed reviewers' wanna claim such watches to be in eBay or elsewhere...those freaking watches would still be...FAKES...imitations n counterfeits...or 'Frankens' or miss-matched...n absolute loads of obnoxious garbage...! |
