I mean, each time I.ve been to AP to try a 15400, they offered me big discount without big push from my side. Never saw that with a Rilex Daytona.

Nah, I think the Daytona is a more interesting watch. If you are having the AP itch, however, I would suggest either trading something else for it, or finding one on the secondary market.

I would not, but i'm not a fan of AP. The deal does sound OK if you like this AP.

I agree with Steve, I prefer the 400 to the old Daytona, but probably not to the new D500.

I would. The Daytona is great, but there is something special about those AP/PP watches.

You should be; you're among the minority I've seen that the watch actually fits. Looks good, in fact!
As my wrist measures 200 mm — that's 7-7/8" in freedumb units — it wears similarly for me; I just always seem to prioritize other watches. Quote:
A modern Explorer is an easily replaceable watch if in case it's missed, and I doubt the Tudor would be missed at all. |

The 500c has a slightly larger wearing appearance with the new bezel and in my eyes removes the temptation to consider a deal (value aside). |

It sounds like a fair deal for both of you.

If the temptation is there, it's worth giving it a try as it sounds like a fair deal.
If I'm faced with the decision of one or the other though, I'm keeping the Daytona. |
