Opinions on Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm (Ref 114300)
Hello All,
Just a quick post, Financial considerations have changed my mind from a 116610 Submariner With Date to a Oyster Perpetual 39mm with Dark Rhodium dial (Ref 114300) what is the current consensus on this watch, is it a good first Rolex ?(as this is going to be my first when I pick it up on the 17th of October....) Opinions Please... Many Thanks |

Did you read the top 5 or so threads on the OP39, including my review thread? Most folks here love it.

It's probably the most understated, yet amazingly beautiful, reference in today's Rolex production.

Its nice but i still prefer the 214270, especially the new one. Better clasp, timeless design, i really dont like the color of the minute markers on the OP 39 they look too "neon".

Yes. The OP is a fantastic watch. It's a perfect first and could even be an only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
