FS: Gigandet Wakmann triple-date chronograph with rare all black dial
For sale is my 39mm Gigandet Wakmann triple-date chronograph (circa 1960s) in excellent (92%) condition. This particular example features a rare all-black dial, which is nearly flawless. Movement is a Valjoux 730 (the final iteration of the Valjoux 72) - also extremely clean. Domed crystal has only feint scratches that are visible at certain acute angles, but otherwise not noticeable. Hands and case are in excellent condition. There is a gorgeous, creamy patination of the tritium on the hands and hour markers. Caseback is near mint. The watch keeps excellent time, all date functions work as they should, and the chronograph operates very well.
