Advice needed for DayDate service

My fathers 1960's DD is due for a service, so I brought it to RSC NY, left the watch and I received the estimate today. Basically I just want the movement serviced and keep the watch in its original condition as much as possible. However, they suggest the hands and the crystal crystal to be replaced, I have the gold bracelet with the spring bars at home but wear it on a gator strap, so they want to also sell me the gold spring bars.. Etc... What do you more savvy gentleman suggest?
Here is a picture of the estimate.

Thank you guys!!!

Oscar

I would pass and find a competent watchmaker to service the watch. Additionally, I would keep the original dial/hands and bezel on the watch. I would source a set of the correct, 10k Rolex spring bars.

I am also a fan of independent watchmakers: I'm lucky enough to have access to a few excellent local people, but there are also many mentioned on the forum that I would not hesitate to use.
