Jubilee bracelet need repaired?

I was just wondering if you guys thought that my Jubilee bracelet could use some TLC? Also I'm kind of wondering if I could put a Glide lock clasp on this Jubilee anybody know that answer? I would just feel more secure with a locking clasp.

I don't own a jubilee, but it doesn't look too bad yet. I have a friend who wears a vintage daydate like that and he's quite happy with it. But if t bothers you, send it to Michael Young or get a replacement.

Don't know about the glidelock...

looks fine to me...about the only time to consider having a Jubilee replaced or restored is when the links appear really stretched-out. you've got some good years left on that one.

I just had an oyster bracelet refurbished that probably had less stretch in it than your jubilee. If it bothers you, get it sorted. It's a relatively cheap procedure and Michael Young does great work.

Hi, the stretch on that band is minimum, you are still good!

If that bracelet is 30 years old you're good for another 30.

I agree with the others that you don't need any new work on it.
Also, adding that it actually gets more comfy as it gets more stretch in the future.
And finally, sorry you can't add the newer clasp to it unless you fabricated custom connectors using two extra removable links. I'm sure someone could fabricate it but the cost would be high, the custom work could become a failure point, and I think the entire bracelet may lose it's comfortable feel.

I think a glide lock would ruin the vintage watch. No way I'd do that. If it bothers you, send it off to MY for refurbishing; I'd personally wear it more however.
