Some advice.....
I am thinking of getting a sub soon. I currently have the GMT Ceramic stainless, should I sell and get a two tone blue sub, or keep my GMT and get a stainless Sub ?
What would you do ? |

I don't like wearing two-tone sports watches. So, there.

You can add a pre owned two tone submariner for close to the same price as a SS sub...seems like you want the two tone.

I do want the two tone, but I really didn't want to spend $13,000. I also want to make sure that my watches hold their value, and two-tone watches don't seem to hold their value as much as stainless ones do.
I have always dreamed owning two Rolexes, and this may be my chance. I am tired of having to sell one, to buy another. |

Gold and sports watch should be mutually exclusive ... or so my mind says. But, nonetheless, I would love to own a bluesy!

Get the TT as you have no issue with them like some here do, plus you have SS already. You can buy for 10K from a reseller so not much loss on resale, don't pay anywhere near retail.

Thank you very much for the advice, I think I may get a very good deal buying a two-tone here on the boards. The people here are really outstanding, I have been monitoring this for a number of years, and I am very impressed with the knowledge, and the comments made on this board.

trade the GMT for the BLNR and get a sub-C :D
I'm personally not a fan of the two tone subs (unless you're an older gentleman)... |

I personally would just add rather than trading your GMT. so SS Sub it would be if I was in your shoes.

If your GMTc is the all black version, the TT blue sub would be a great addition. Check out a website called watchrecon - it allows you to do searches on every "For Sale" board of every Forum simultaneously, filtering results by watch model, seller, etc. It's a great tool to get a good notion of pre-owned prices, bnib prices and so forth.
I agree that a lightly used TT sub would save you a chunk of cash, and maybe allow for the 2 wath collection you desire! Good luck in your quest, it's half the fun! |

Keep the GMT. Go trusted seller for the Sub, that'll certainly bring a TT into the right price range. A ND Sub would be a great partner for the GMT too.

Go for the TT. A bluesy and GMT would be a great Rolex combo. Save and make it happen!
