The closest thing I have is a Longines HydroConquest...but it doesn't quite match up to the BLNR. But at the same time, it was about 1/9 of the cost too, so that's not fair.

LOL. My wife will never understand the addition b/c she doesn't love her watches like we do. She owns (4) watches and I have bought them all for her. The most expensive watch is her Omega Constellation and it looks like it has been through a battle b/c she doesn't quite baby it like I do with my watches.

I buy a new watch every 4-5 years, so I won't have to hear it for that long again....for now, I'm going to just let my wrist and eyes enjoy the new BLNR.

Thanks everyone for the warm and kind Congrats!

From the sounds of it, I picked a crowd favorite. Indeed it's a real beauty, I have been at work all day and it's hard to take my eyes off of it. I can hardly believe I'm a proud owner of this watch.

For me it's all timing. I really lucked out with the purchase of the BLNR b/c I had called about (5) AD's in my area for the last couple weeks and no one had it in stock. All of them told me that they will call or email when one comes in. Then I got an email back from the last AD and long and behold, they replied with "We have it in stock". I had to do a double take and re-read the email. LOL The rest is history!

Nothing comes close to a Rolex but a Rolex. All others are wannabees.
