Best prices

This one occurred to me when I was chatting with JJ on Skype about Mansour's prices yesterday.

It seems that there's perhaps one thing we haven't gotten down to yet - a price comparison of watches from the different places that we live in.

How about we pick a certain model that would be common to all areas, say a GMT II or a SUB, and get quotes on it within a given time frame (maybe a month or so)?

After currency conversion, I'd like to see who's got the best prices. What do you guys think?

I'm going out of town one day next week for my birthday. I know they have a few ADs there so I'll check the price of a sub. Of course I'm goin to the ADs. When in Raleigh look at Rolex's.

Good post, James. I can say with open conviction that you would still get the best prices here in Auckland....even more so if you are taking the watch out of the country, duty free.

Come to NZ for a holiday and I promise any one of you wonderful guys the time of your life.

Cheers - JJ

I'll take you up on that invitation, JJ!

Anyway, Aaron raised a good point - I meant best discounted price.

Yes Daren I am sort of trying to talk the parents into a Rolex. Just not for my birthday. This is because they have bought me my birthday presents already. (I got em early so I'm not complaining.) A new cell phone and a new golf bag so I'll ask for Christmas.
