I saw several posts where people dont sleep or shower with it... Is that bad for the watch or just personal preference?
Congratulations, what a beautiful piece!
Its a watch, furthermore its a Rolex its made to be worn in almost any situation. I wear mine to bed but I don't wear mine in the shower only because I want to be able to soap my wrists. It is waterproof to 300 feet and built like a tank. I only take it off if I am working with machinery or power tools that may cause serious damage to it. That's why I like Rolex and travel with them they are so versatile. I can wear it to the beach during the day and to dinner in a nice restaurant in the evening later. Its a well made piece of machinery that is made to be used and not babied.
Enjoy your watch and wear the heck out of it don't obsess over it!

Congrats! I think I share in the same enthusiasm. I too have been saving for my first Rolex for years and I recently was able to find the BLNR in a local AD. Three + years in and out of the AD's and never saw one with my own eyes. Few weeks back, I found one and the rest is history. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do!

Mine says "hello"
