Icon4 Question on a Rolex Desk Clock 8053

I am looking for a replacement movement or method of repair for my Rolex 8053 dealers desk clock. The mechanism itself is a simple sealed plastic rectangle. The clock was working last year but then developed a green oxidation on the copper terminal. Cleaning it doesn't help and there doesn't appear to be any way of opening the mechanism to try and repair it. A Swiss watchmaker I know said they used to just throw these plastic 8053 movements away and replace them with a fresh Rolex part. Since this clock is from the 1980s I am assuming the part is discontinued. Does anyone know where to find one or how to possibly repair the one that I have? Or if there is another similar mechanism that will at least get the clock working again. Thanks for any guidance with this!!! - Jerry in Miami
