I prefer the look of the blue. But it's probably because blue is one of my favorite colors.

Either green or blue lume fine for me; My DJ is green, my Explorer is blue and my 21yr old Sub doesn't have any lume left

Will the blue lume patina with age? I know it hasn't been around long enough to really tell, but what is it expected to do after a few decades?

Blue lume is still just luminova, same as the green. It's doubtful that luminova will patina, but it was only invented 23 years ago so we'll see!

I'm that guy. My chocolate daytona has green and I was bummed. I thought my LV sub was green until I held it next to my blnr. The blue on the blnr is pretty snd picks up at random times like in the car when there is overcast ot shade. I got a LN sub in Dec and blue lume was mandatory.

I like the green lume. It seems brighter to my eyes. Rolex lume is average at best so it's not a stand out quality one looks for in a Rolex either way. So many more important factors when buying a Rolex.

Blue is my favorite color so I would choose blue if possible but it's certainly not a deal breaker in any way at all.
