Omega speedy or Breitling Navitimer
Trying to decide on my next watch. The Navi has the blue face , it's the pre B01 in-house. Both are mint pre-owned. I currently own a SubC, and Datejust 2. Looking for something in a certain price range. Was thinking maybe Panerai 112 but I actually like the other two. Thanks for your recommendations.

I've never owned an Omega and probably never will since the brand just doesn't call to me but I do own a couple of Breitlings. One of my first was the Navitimer world and even though it doesn't get much wrist time these days, it's still an awesome piece that I would never part with. Breitling gets my vote.

Speedmaster. The Breitling is too busy for my liking.

Speedmaster for sure.. Navitimer is nice but not a watch that will stay in a collection for a long time, the speedmaster on the other hand will be a keeper for ever!

Yep Speedy, the hand wound one, and if possibly install a see through caseback, the movement is beautiful, and as far as I know is the same that Patek and others used for much more expensive pieces, sure the finishing and customization is not the same but still it's beautiful, and for that price is a bargain

Navitimer was my first higher end watch and has been in the collection for 10 years. Speedy is great too and I could see adding one someday. That said, have to vote for the home team.

Definitely a speedy. It's an iconic chronograph, not too cluttered, and has a great history. I always found Breitlings a bit too large and too busy for my taste.

I think like the Sub, every collection should have a Speedmaster. It's just that iconic !

I would get a Breitling Navitimer with in house movement. Providing you have a Rolex in the first place.

I just chose the speedy over nav. I can't imagine ever flipping it.

I have owned different breitling sin the past and moved on but was always intrigued by the Navitimer. I'll be honest I like the busyness of it, looks like a tool on your wrist. And the speedy, I know it's an icon, I love its history, it's perfect size, this is a tough one. Thanks to all of you for your valid points of each. The only other peice I was on the fence was a Panerai, but that's another topic.
