GMT Hand Movement - Problem?

I have a Rolex GMT Master IIc, which I received six weeks ago. I wear the watch every day and have only wound it twice in the six weeks. It has kept perfect time during this six week period. Today I noticed the GMT hand time was way off. I had set it to Greenwich Mean Time, but it was more than three hours ahead. I reset it to the correct GMT EST Day light Savings time, which is EST plus 4 hours. At the time I set the watch it was 2pm EST and the GMT was set to 5pm. It's now 3pm EST and the GMT hand is halfway between 5 and 6 hour markers. I believe it should be at 6 marker by now, correct?

Is this a problem?

Never Mind - Brain Fart!

I forgot the GMT hand is on a 24 hour cycle and not 12. My bad!

That's the reason for the 2 colored bezel. Night&Day!

I can see that as a useful aid, however I just happen to prefer all black. I can't explain how I forgot the watch functionality, other than it's still pretty new and I had a brain fart.

Haha, you are not alone, I made same mistake with my first GMT that had a uniform non colored bezel. Let it drive me nuts until I finally learned how to use the sucker.
