Are they readily available? I read a few post that were made in the last month and a lot of people said they had to order one or they tried one on that was ordered for a different customer? I ask because i walked in my local dealer and they had one in stock.

That's a polarizing piece for sure! Congrats on the new watch. It grew on me more when I saw it in person, especially since I had seen it's "inspiration" in the Bloodhound SSC 1000 MPH Car instrument panel.

Very nice, my first Rolex was an Air-King although this one really looks nothing like it at all, I would really like to see the watch in person. Initially I wasn't crazy about it but it is a completely different experience to look at it on your wrist. Looks great on you, Congratulations!

I have a new Air King and am very fond of it. It looks like an instrument on the wrist.

Looks much nicer in person! The 3-6-9 seem more differentiated, so the dial looks less congested/confusing than it appears in pictures.

Not ugly, just different! Excellent case size (Milgauss) and just as antimagnetic.

Not ugly at all... that's a great fun sports design that would dress up a pair of jeans and a t-shirt quite nicely!

New Watch!!!

I think Rolex did a great job with the AirKing. If we're honest it was always designed as an entry level model with basic functionality, but it had become a misfit in today's big watch world. Rolex preserved the AirKing name if not its heritage in a fun youthful design that is likely to draw attention to a younger crowd and get them in the world of Rolex without buying the traditional DJ or Sub models so loved by TRF members and traditionalists. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but at least Rolex conservatively addressed their lack of design originality while tapping into the pilots watch trend. It wouldn't be my only watch, but I'd have one in a collection!
