Back in the shop

A few weeks ago my TT DJ started losing reserve power. I noticed it would stop overnight and I would give it a full wind. It proceeded to get worse, went to bed one night at 11:00 and it stopped at 3:15 AM. It appears the winding stop on the stem is not engaging.

Long story short it is back at Dallas RSC and supposed to get quick turn service of 10 days. We will see.

Edit: I forgot to point out this is all after a total overhaul post drop.

Sorry to hear that! 10 Days is a pretty fast turn around from the RSC!

much as they can do great work in dallas, i have had a sub returned to me with rough grinding marks on the side of the case, not quite what one would expect, and several times had to send it back after servicing as it did not run very well, and once when the date changed slowly over three hours. does anyone have experience with new york RSC to compare> thanx!

I would say that the majority of the complaints that we see in the forums are about the work and attitude at NYC RSC..

There is a Chicag RSC.... indy. Sutter's Watch Repair/Rolex Service Center. They are TERRIBLE. Never go there (or send your watch there).
