Are 16610 sub crystals glued in or only pressed in?
Just curious how these crystals are fixed in place.
Thank you in advance for all replies. |

Pressed into a hytril gasket and a metal retainer ring that holds it together, which has a rubber gasket to seal the possible leak between the ring and the case.

Yep. From midcase : gasket over rehaut, crystal into gasket, tension ring pressed over it all. Removing the tension ring for crystal swaps is a different story. |

I recently changed all gaskets in a Deepsea and tested it to 3900m, I needed the Rolex guide because of all the gaskets and tools... Almost rocket science lol |
